Untitled (Object 1)

Materials: Shattered glass, clay, concrete
Found materials, assembled sculpture
[2021]

This object is composed of shattered glass fragments found at an outdoor graffiti site, assembled into a sculptural form and anchored in clay attached to a piece of concrete. The work brings together remnants of impact, gesture, and place, allowing material traces from the site to retain their physical and symbolic weight. Rather than functioning as a fixed object, the sculpture operates as a quiet accumulation — holding tension between fragility, grounding, and the conditions of its origin.

For those drawn to this work

This collection often resonates with those who are drawn to quiet tension and subtle presence.

To those who notice what shifts beneath the surface—rather than what immediately stands out.

It tends to find its place in spaces that value calm, depth, and a slower kind of attention.

Living with the work

The works in UreshiiNaa are not static.

They shift with changing light, distance, and attention—sometimes quiet, sometimes more present.

Over time, they become part of the rhythm of a space rather than a focal point that demands it.

What first appears subtle often reveals greater depth the longer you stay with it.

A growing body of work

Each piece belongs to an ongoing exploration rather than a fixed series.

Works can stand alone, but over time, connections begin to emerge between them—through texture, balance, and underlying structure.

For some, collecting within the series becomes a way of building a personal visual landscape that evolves gradually.

Choosing a piece

There is no single way to choose within this collection.

Some are drawn to contrast, others to softness or restraint.

Often, the right piece is simply the one that holds your attention a little longer than the rest.
